We have poured our hearts and expertise into our new 6,500 square foot, state-of-the-art veterinary facility! Taking into account the many lessons learned over the last decade, we sought to create a facility that we would not only be proud of, but would offer our clients and their pets an unmatched experience in modern veterinary care.
The following is a summary of the building’s features:
- Separate feline and canine lobby entrances and waiting areas, to reduce stress and conflict between cats, dogs and their owners
- Fear Free® Practice and Cat Friendly Practice®-certified building layout (certifications currently being pursued)
- 3 feline-exclusive exam rooms
- 4 canine-exclusive exam rooms
- Comfort room with separate entrance, for better privacy during end-of-life visits
- Dedicated Isolation room for highly contagious pets
- Surgery and Dental Suites with centralized decontamination features
- Central Treatment Room with adjoining doctor offices for maximum team collaboration
- Laboratory and Pharmacy Room
- Imaging Room for x-rays and ultrasound
- Separate cat and dog wards to reduce noise, conflict and stress
- Spacious kennel runs for comfortable daily drop-off stays
- Fenced-in outdoor courtyard for stretching furry legs and collecting samples
- Building powered by back-up generator to ensure that all critical services are never down
- Large monitors in exam rooms allow clients to view x-rays and other medical data
- Free WiFi inside and out, for connecting while you wait, be it in the lobby or outdoors for curbside service
- Lobby refreshment bar featuring coffee, water, soft drinks and other surprises
- Want to take a walk with your dog before or after your visit? BVC sits next to Buda’s beautiful Bradfield Park and Lake, featuring trails that connect to our property!
As you would expect from a brand-new facility, BVC is outfitted with the latest and greatest veterinary diagnostic tools and advancements. This includes everything from our surgical tables to our imaging and diagnostic equipment, and literally every piece of furniture, technology and device in between. Modern tools help drive efficiency and medical accuracy.
